Hi,

I'm pretty dazzled... I checked the installation folder to be sure it was made with AM, never seen something like that

Incredible professional what you have done, can't wait for the whole game.

BTW: I'm happy to see you found some use for KeyGuard

Keep developping !

With best regards,

I noticed some of the same things as General Failure, Vairon. (Also your sign inside the ship should read "Caution".) On the main menu screen the words for save, load, quit, etc. appeared as black on black, so I had to guess at what was written. There is also an artifact hanging in the sky over the ship.... maybe intentionally?

What an impressive start though! I liked the music and ambient sounds a lot, and I thought that you'd set a really good mood. There was just enough tension and I was quickly lost in your scenes.

I'm really impressed with how you did your save/load system. It is much cleaner than what I had tried (unsuccessfully ) to do. I hope that you'll be able to share that with us.

Thanks Shadow and Imari, your opinion is very important to me.

To Shadow:
The possibilities are endless in AM and with time you can do incredible things, especially with your plugins  .

To Imari:
All bugs you find are due to lack of time in testing, the "strange object" over the ship... this is a design bug, jeje  .
On the menu buttons, have you tried to increase the brightness of your monitor? Until now, nobody said me this.

Thanks to both for trying out the demo.

Hi Vairon, yes, I'm sure that the "black" menu is due to the fact that I'm still using a CRT monitor. I've noticed that the contrast on some images over the net are dark or too high in contrast and when I view my own images on the newer LCD's they can look washed out. So the problem is on my end, but you still might want a little more contrast between your letters and background, as I'm probably not the only one using CRT.... or maybe I am. :P

Please don't take my comments as condemnation of your game. I was really very favorably impressed by it and hope that you'll be able to finish it soon. I'd like to play it! :D

Vairon, Stunning!

It hung up a little as I moved around, but that's because my machine is a bit old. I'll load it on my kid's pc and try it out!

Great work!

In fact, this was one of the most impressive demos I've ever seen programmed with AM. The 360 degree view, the very good fitting ambient sound, the nice graphics, the good chosen setting. All these are signs for a promising game.

That's because I wanted to point at all the errors I've found. I think that if you are able to eliminate all that minor bugs, it will become a real pearl in independent game development. If you need a beta tester, I will be there.

I hope you invest much time in beta testing before the final release. I know that it's much and hard work, but it's worth it. So don't try to reach a fix release date. Spend as much time as needed in beta testing.

Thanks again for your words General Failure, you are absolutely right,
it is clear that I have to spend more time on bug testing and will accept
your proposition as a beta tester, I will contact you.

I will work hard to bring this project forward.

Hi there..I sooo wanted to play this game..but am unable too.. The atmosphere is fantastic!~ I tried for a little bit..but couldn't do the 360 panoramic thing.. Also, I got an audio error at the beginning too..I was able to by pass it..but it said something about having two sources of audio playing..One in a video and one in background maybe..
Something about not being able to support this..2 audio sources at once..Basically some audio I wouldn't be able to hear....Anyways no biggie ..Doesn't look like anyone else got this error..:D I have an older computer..

..Looked like an awesome game..!~:D

Hi mercedes!
I'm not sure I understood your last post, you got problems with the audio and 360 view?

If so it is true that no one has had the problems you say, have you checked that you have installed the necessary codecs?
On the other hand, what version of DirectX you have?
Probably the audio problems may be due to the codecs.
The problem with the 360 view may be the graphics card or an old version of DirectX.

Please, tell me if you solved the problems.

Hey there..I had no problem with the 360, --there we're no errors..:) I just can't play games with panoramic---they make me dizzy..--I tried to play it..!..but in the end..couldn't do it.. As for the audio...I received an error message, about having 2 sources of audio going at once..and one of them being in a video..If there was necessary codecs for the audio..then perhaps I dont' have them ...Could be that..I wouldn't worry about it..I'm the only one who received the error..Could have been a fluke..and it probably was.. Other than that...the game looked awesome :D~

Peace

Hey, your game looks great.
Seems that you managed what I and Imari didn't :P
I hope you will someday release a tutorial.

Anyways, I just wanted to inform you about a minor bug: If the player tries to save the game in more than one slot at once, the images don't appear immediately for the rest of the slots, but after exiting and re-entering the save menu

More news about my new project Devil's Sea, from today you can see the video I uploaded to the web.
It is not very professional and I found the audio on the Internet(of course), I do what I can

The project is 80% of its development and soon I will have more news.

I thought that was really good, Vairon! Having the Japanese voice over was a nice touch and helps to build a feeling of compassion and even admiration for the poor pilot.
