It may take a month to finish this game, but I might as well introduce it!

This is the second game in the Shayne series.

I draw them, but I have to reference a picture of some sort. It's harder for me to just draw from my mind...esp. as I get older. :shock:

edit: it takes me about an hour to sketch one object. Then I add a second layer and draw hard lines (this can take a few hours depending on the complexity). Finally, I add color and shading. If they are animated, then I add a layer for each movement. :shock:

I really need to learn 3D Modeling one of these days... :?

Besides, if you look closely, there is a reason for who I chose for the thugs in jail! but enough of that....don't want to give away too much.

Start with SketchUp. It's the easiest. :wink:

Of course, once you've mastered SU, you may not want to try other 3D modeling programs... Hey, I just thought of a new internet slang term, for 3D modelers only: SUS- that means SketchUp Spoiled. :mrgreen:

Everyone on the Free Thinkers team has been busy working on Breath and other personal projects. Reneuend is also learning a new animation program, so he's more swamped than most of us.

I understand your large project, Breath, is underway but I have a question about this one, is it really going to be third person like the pictures? :(

It's not 3rd person. Those are some of the characters in the story that Shayne has to work with. I like using people in my games.

Hi Kat.

I hand drew everything using Paintshop Pro 7. I'm so familiar with it that I never upgraded or changed!

I bought Anim Studio to improve the animation. You'll see that when I release this game.

Hahahah! Can I blame ShadowHunter? :oops:
He came out with KeyGuard4 and Particle+, so I had to try them out to see how I could use them in my games. Then 3DGamer wanted a journal and I couldn't pass that up! Then Amari wanted a custom Load/Save Game and I'm finishing up a plugin for that! Now I have the Anim Studio Debut 6 to help improve my animation...and there is the 'Breath' project.

So, you see? It's not really my fault! :?

I've been working on Shayne along with these other projects. I'll be narrowing my focus on this project and 'breath' next week.

I'd have a fantastic game 6 months after the first one than one choppy and not well within 2 :D.

This was announced, when again? Febuary... now... July... a span of six months! Either Breath is got you in a fix or Shayne McCoy died on a weekend too :lol: ... wait, death is never a laughing matter :( . So, I perfectly understand Breath has got you without much time for the Shayne series. Okay, just wondering. *Non-chalantly shuffles away* sorry for interrupting.
