Now Available - The Filmmaker

Postby CBSection31 » Fri Apr 10, 2009 11:43 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm sure most of you won't know/remember me, but I used to be an active member of this community years ago. I have previously released two commercial games using Adventure Maker, Lifestream and Shady Brook.

After a long break from this engine, I have begun work on a new horror game, titled The Filmmaker. The website is up at www.unimatrixproductions.com/filmmaker . The game is available for purchase at www.unimatrixproductions.com/store .

A demo is also available! Note that the demo is not compatible with Windows 7, although the full game is.

Go to www.unimatrixproductions.com/filmmaker and visit the Downloads page to get it!

Quite interesting

Sounds interesting; for me it fits your universe of games (I've yet played one of them). I'm sure it will be excellent!

Wow! Nicely done!

I wasn't able to get the Tiles together after a very Looooong effort. I did find the clue, but it wasn't good enough! :(

Overall, the game is very nicely put together!

I've played Lifestream. I need to grow up before Shady Brook, and I can't wait for this one!

Thanks for your nice comments! There are two in-world clues for this puzzle (hint: one in the men's bathroom and one in the women's bathroom), plus three hint cards in the fortune teller machine. Once you get ALL of the hints, the puzzle goes from "unsolvable" to "too easy". :)

Jaked - There's a "censored mode" available in Shady Brook, if the "17 and up" rating concerns you. :)

Nice to see that you have released the demo :D
Is it the same one that I already got for testing, or did you change anything in the meantime?

Wow! The demo is very good. From the rain effect on the outside,
until the mysterious atmosphere that you've made inside the theater.
The only thing that I don't like, are the save and load screens, break this great atmosphere.
Really impressive.

Okay thanks :)
Since last time I just did the testing that you asked me to do, I haven't played this version through yet. I'm going to do that within the next 2 days, and see if everything runs fine on my system :)

Yes, I am. That game doesn't use Adventure Maker, though. It uses 3D Game Studio. :)

Boy those look wonderful, Chris! I can forsee hidden depths (pun intended :P ) to the game that I did not anticipate. I'm really looking forward to playing it through.

Please let us know when it's available. Are you doing pre-orders?
