Thing Thing Mobile

Welcome to Thing Thing Mobile! I am creating the iPhone/touch version of the great series of Thing Thing. The series of games have got millions of hits around the world and I am finishing up final permission to start the game. This is one of the first shooting games for AM.

If you know Thing Thing 4, you'll know this plotline:

You are Robert Glagsow, CIA agent, sent to kill or capture the famed Agent 152. You have two other agents: Joseph and Adam. Joseph is a new intern, learning the deadly ways of the CIA. Adam is a vetran agent and will argue your choices throught the game. Of course there will be TONS of classic Thing-Thing action.
Features:
-4 Scenes in Story Mode: Kill Agent 152 before he turns havoc on Systems Corp. and the world.
- Last Stand Mode: You are Agent 152 and you are to kill as many of the Systems Corp.'s experiments that are sent at you.
- New dialog system and Call The Shots, which you command the other two agents.

I hope to have this game done in 4-6 weeks! So stay tuned. THE GAME WILL BE FINISHED!!!

The most common method, short of using accelerometer input, is just to place a D-pad off to the side or in a corner of the screen.

Problem is, I don't think you can allow d-pad input with AM. Hm...

The only thing I can think of is to draw your scenes smaller and then put arrow buttons on the sides.

You don't even need to shrink your frames, if you're willing to make a habit of leaving a corner devoid of compositional elements. As long as there's always nothing in that corner (other than background), you can just use a transparent overlay.
