Hey...this is a good idea..these games..I"m throwing in a hidden object frame into my game..--They are not easy!..especially if u want the objects to blend in--having others on top of them too..--as hotspots..

How did u make the word dissapear.. with this here..? Is it a 'picture' hotspot with word?--make variable become 0 afterwards..Just curious how u did it with html..

The word? You mean the symbols on the right side? Yes, they are hotspots with those symbols in them (with transparent background). And yes, just a question of working with variables.
To make such a simple game is not difficult, but as you say the artwork takes the most time

Yeah, currently I have the need to get projects finished, and little HTML games can be done quickly (well, the artwork still takes me 8-10 hours)

But of course, downloadable games with more features and complexity are still in production
