ThrowMan (spelling game) Windows

Postby reneuend » Fri Oct 16, 2009 10:41 pm

My kids wanted a game to help with spelling. I created this so that the teacher could change the spelling words, which are actually sound files. The Windows sound recorder is launched from AM to allow recording the words, and the spelling words are extracted from the sound filenames.
There is also an editable Vocabulary Quiz.

I had fun with the animation. Stickmen are very easy to animate!

I tried downloading again (this morning it didn't work) and now it works. This is such a sweet game! What did you use to animate the stickmen They are so funny!
Still playing the USA game but I never get to hear the end tune Image

Thank you for the kind words. :)

I've been using a product called, "anim studio", by SmithMicro. After you get used to the controls, it's fairly easy. But some motions are harder then others.

I'm putting together a music video using an awesome tune created by Harvester. I'm hoping my animation can keep up with the quality of the music.

Let me know if you find any issues with Throwman. Thanks for playing!
