Know this is old, but I've got to tell this story. One summer, about four years ago, I was playing with one of my neighborhood friends. We had our toy lightsabers out (I was ten years old), and my friend, ever the imaginative one, said that we should make up our own characters to play as. I thought for a moment, then said "Ok, I'll be Zenoc." I don't know why, but it sounded Sci-Fi-ish, so I went with it.

Later that year, I signed up for Runescape (dumb game, I know, but I liked it at the time). The name that I had used for every online game up until that point had been taken, so I was forced to use a different name. Zenoc came to mind immediately. That had been taken as well, so I settled for Zenoc2. I've been using that name ever since, and recently adopted the pseudonym Zenoc Mathews II.

You all are so inventive!

My Avatar is the initials of my name. I've used since college...that was years ago and it's still used at work and on forums. It's easier for us old people to keep the same name where possible!

I guess I could have used Roger Wilco from Sierra's Space Quest. I enjoyed that series of games and it's my kind of twisted humor.

My nick is pretty much my initials as well,
Though I have often given it different meanings like :

Micro-Universe
Research
Manager
2811 (Employee number)...

MR.M 2811 years old ..

Mad
Rad
Man x 2811

And other corny ideas ...

:)
Just PM me three things, a location, a time period and a item.

I will send you back a story line.

Was an over the road truck driver.
I was running from Oxnard Cal to the Bronx NY.
Two other guys where heading that way so we went together.
Every time I'd talk to them on the CB they would say they could hear a rattle.
Maybe something was loose in the cab but I never heard it. After a while they just started calling me "Rattle" and it stuck.
13 is just a number I stick on the end because a lot of
places I get the "that user name is taken"

Well, my nickname on HERE is pretty boring...JasonMc is my name, Jason McDonald.

However, my OTHER nickname (for non-professional circumstances), is lukedamouse. It stems from the name of the character in my games, Luke D. Mouse, who is based on my personality.

However, the games themselves (a third rebuild, actually) come from a prank war I was in, in which I pranked a bunch of college-age kids online by making a series of web games that featured them being antagonized by an evil cat.

But, that's an extremely long story, and not one I feel like typing out atm.

Vengeance...

I got this nickname from Judas Priest song called Vengeance Is Mine. I was more into heavy metal back in high school. I was listening heavy and thrash metal and I have played with my bands back then.

On of the bands is called Warnament (www.myspace.com/warnament).

I added 66 to the nickname because it was unavailable. If it was 66 unavailable too, I would surely add 7 so it will be the neighbor of the beast 667... haha :D
Stay a while and listen...

Mine's also pretty boring. I've used a couple different names on forums over the years, and I just decided to use this one when I signed up. Funny thing is, I can't really call myself "miss" anymore since I've been a "Mrs." for almost a year now! Opps. And "Mira" is just short for Miranda, which is my real name. ; P

Funny story

I was 6 and I knew how to use a computer very well. I downloaded a Disney game called Toontown and it said to type a name. I sat there staring at the computer screen trying to think of random things, and Morsy came to mind :P

Hello!

I enjoyed reading the source of many nicknames. Some curious!.
Mine is the most traditional.
The initials of my name, LBQ
BCN is the city where I live. (Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain)

Simple and silly.

Much earlier in my experience in game development I was drawing a cartoon clock with a face (X's for eyes) and an arrow piercing through it. And thus my logo was born - I decided to call my "company" - Time Killer Games Productions.

Simon is.... Simon
Yeah, very original, isn't it ? I just didn't want to hide behind a username, as long as I was creating a commercial game with my real name inside.

In the 80's, I had skiing gloves that had "umbro" written on them, I though a letter was missing and just added "G" to the front. Yeah, my nickname is so old... it was first used on dial-up BBS systems ;)
