Newbie saying hi

Hello everyone,

I figured Ive gotten so far as to start my first game, I should probably get aquianted with the community.

For awhile I have been playing flash games and the sort on Gamershood, and it was by sheer curiosity that I clicked on that link in Mystery's sig.
Downloaded AM and now here I am, about to embark on this adventure of making my own game.

I will admit I am intimidated by some of the outstanding games I have seen, and Im hoping somewhere down the line, my own work will be as good.

Thank you for sharing my little story.
Any tips for the newbie would be appreciated.

Hi Kaleotera, welcome to the AM Forums!

It's difficult to give tips to beginners, but I would say:
Just start out to create your first games, put some effort and time in them. Don't try to make something professional from the beginning, because then you'll be probably frustrated and give up.
Make the best that you can at the moment. Get constructive feedback from others, and try to make it better in your next game. Learn new things over the time, and never loose the fun!

And if you get stuck or need help, then just post on this forums, and we'll try to help

Mystery's right. Everybody is on this forum to help each other out. There are loads of people around here with a lot of experience who are only to happy to share some. If you need any help with VB scripting I'm the guy to call...
