My Flash tutorial

Postby chickens1127 » Sun Apr 13, 2008 10:06 pm

You may be getting sick of me saying Flash is better than your stupid, confusing code I do not understand, but it's true.

Here are the advantages:

1. Create real-time racing games.
2. Swordfighting games
3. Shooting games
4. Better adventure games

Disadvantages:
1. No puzzle games.

I am sorry, this seems pretty obvios.

First Example

Download thirt day free trial of CS3 Flash at adobe.com if you do not have it.
Wait for it to download and go outside and enjoy the sun.

Come back a few hours later.

Next, go into Paint, and make a menu and call it "Shooting Bombs". Just make a Play button.

Go into Flash, and draw something blowing up. Export it as a .AVI . Then, go into Paint again draw one bomb thing on the left. Save it, repeat for center, and right. Then bring up AM and put the peices together.

I will be posting games and other examples when I think of it.

Moved topic to general chat, since it's about Flash, and not an Adventure Maker tutorial.

Btw, you are free to use any software to create your games, nobody forces you to use AM or work with VBScript - so there's no need to rant this way about our "stupid code" ;)

Yes... I was going to delete that post because it kinda offended me, but then I decided to let it be so another moderator would decide...

I find adventure maker to be much easier and user friendly...flash is pretty limited on psp, not to mention that it costs too much money for such a limited little action game.
Simple html works better than flash.
