I'm new, I am leaving for a while, or saying goodbye.

This forum is meant for talking about just anything, including things that have nothing to do with Adventure Maker.

Hi all,

I apologize for my disappearance. We had internet problems for a long time

We've been working together with our provider to track down the problem, we had moments when the internet ran for a very short time, and then was down again. It was a very frustrating time.
I just got informed by our provider that the issue seems to be finally solved.

I need to leave now, but will be back in a couple of hours to check new posts etc.
Plus, I will take care of the Member of the Month feature for July if nobody else did.
I'm very sorry that I couldn't do that and other tasks I promised to do.

It's good to be finally back! :D

Just in case anyone is curious. I'm spending the little time I have with the Breath Project.

I hope everyone is doing well, especially your Mom, Kat. She's still in my prayers.

Hehe... well it's been two months and I've done pretty much nothing.

Just posting here to let people know that I still frequent this forum and I've actually just put up a little demo of something I'm working on.

So even if I don't visit for a while, I'm still very much part of this community. :)

Hello everyone!
Since my last project I have been a little inactive, but had to put certain things in order.
I'm back with renewed strength, in fact I am working on two new projects: a casual game,
I expect to finish by Christmas and... the other is more complex.
Anyway I will soon provide you more data from both projects in their respective thread.

Best regards, Vairon.

saying Hello

Postby MikeTn1 » Fri Dec 18, 2009 4:38 pm

Hello everyone. I have made a couple of posts already and will make more in the future.
I am currently working on a Master of Orion 2 style remake that is tentatively being called Deneb 4X. I will do a .exe demo soon that gives an idea of what most of the main screens will look like. It is being done with pictures I found here and there and most will not make the final game.
I am working on learning Bryce. I will use it as my "standard" picture maker.
I am still learning how to use Adventure Maker and it's scripting language. Any help or suggestions will be most welcome.
The final game might be re-done as an XNA game when (and if) I learn enough about XNA to program in it.

 8)

If what you want for your game can be done in AM I wouldn't recommend XNA. It's too difficult to do even the most simple things especially when you are a beginner.

Hi guys!
I have been some time without posting because I've been busy for my job.
This situation is going to extend (I don't know how long :( ), so you will not see me much.
I'll try, at least, read your posts.

See you soon (I hope).

No need to reply, just leaving a note... ;)

Just to say that I will be away again but this time for quite some time. My Black Keep game is still in the works so no worries there if you are still looking forward to that. (I know I have been on this for ages!)

A few weeks ago I have co-started a new RPG game company and right now I am 110% busy with that and will be for a good deal of time. However I will come back ASAP and I may even have a few new drawing tutorials and maybe some 3D freebies if I find the time to complete them.

I'll certainly keep in eye on the forums once in a while and try to keep up with what the community is doing. Until then have fun making and playing the games. :)

I've been away for a couple months due to work, but everything is settling down now. However, I'll be devoting what little free time I have to 3 projects that I've been working on, so I won't be out here as often.

I built a new PC a couple months ago and installed Windows 7. I'll use this machine for building the graphics and animation, which is 90% of a game anyway, and then use my old XP machine to build the adventure game.

I hope to have something for everyone in the near future.

Remember me peeps?

I'm Roan Contreras (Or Toadfrogs) and I'm back! After making too many games with game maker =)

I could do few more html games with adventure maker for this year but I'll still make games with game maker after making point-and-click games with AM this year...

Anyway, look what's going on with my game making life from my site... Check some news from the "Press"(homepage): http://roancontreras.zxq.net/

Hi to all, after a period of inactivity, I've a new project in development.
It will be a mini horror game, for the moment I'm creating the story, soon you will see images and more info.

On the other hand, I see new members, and more activity in the new games section. It's great! :D

Best regards, Vairon.

P.D: this is not a full return, I beg your patience, my new job does not allow me much free time.
