My father was in WWII and I grew up hearing him sing tunes from that era.

The one he sang a lot that sticks in my mind is: "Don't sit under the apple tree with anyone else but me" by the Andrew Sisters.

Most of the songs I like to listen to are from the 60s - 80s, but they don't mean as much to me.

I grew up with the music of the late 60's and 70's, and my party and disco times were in the 80's.
To a great extent I got stuck in that time concerning music :lol:
