Hello guys. As an idea from reneuend and I will take the iniative and start this award.

I personally overlapped Crazygamemaker for a few months, but more I felt his impact. He was one of the old users, and practically ran the game page. He also worked on many projects and amazingly, unlike most of us, finished most of them besides one game, Vengence II, in production when he passed away. This award is here in memory of him.

A panel of three people, (volunteer, must have been on forum 1+ year, and must be trusted and sincere) will decide the best game that has been posted in the New Games Announcement through PM. The user will recieve a ribbon, and he/she can post it on it's thread to show the game is good. I belive C.G.M would have loved to have his new game, Vengance II, receive a reward like this.

We should make it an annual award

Yes. My original thought was an annual contest where the winner would receive the CrazyGameMaker award. I was thinking the award would go to someone that has the most "unique" game, but that's not necessary. The main idea is to remember CrazyGameMaker with this memorial award.

I think we will give this award in January or the Spring, since it's a new year or a new season. Tell me your thoughts. We are going to need a committee to decide.

If the rules are put together now then a deadline could be set for the Spring.

That works I'll send a couple of you a rough draft of the criterias tongiht (7 hours from this post) and if you could get back to me fast we could have a panel by late January and announce March or April.
