I use Poser extensively! So how would I go about making a panorama view using that? would I make a 10 frame animation with the last frame having the camera rotated to 315 degrees, then stitch the pics together in photoshop? or am do I have the wrong idea all together?

For a first overview you can take a look at the TUTORIAL FOR CREATING INTERACTIVE 360-DEGREE PANORAMAS here:

That's the first thing I read. But they don't have anything about 3D software that doesn't have a 3D panoramic render setting.

Though I'm not an expert at all, I would say that if your software can not create cylindrical panoramic projections then you probably have to stitch the pictures together as it is suggested for using photos.

Vue

Get Vue, it renders as nice as Poser I think, it can import Poser files correctly, and it can render the kind of panoramic pictures you need.
