Imagicon help please...

I created an icon..[made it in paint] saved it as .ico or other format..and have attempted to drag it on or opened it in Imagicon..but no matter there is a white backround..in adventure maker..for icon..I wouldn't think it would be because of paint..is the reason..I thought you could make it in any program..being as it [imagicon] changed the format after wards..??
Am i doing something wrong..??

*EDIT* Never mind..you have to set Alphatransparency to White..instead of black..which is what default colour was set too..lol..
