Converting Pictures..

Postby mercedes » Thu Nov 20, 2008 1:54 pm

hi there...:0

I have downloaded a picture from PlanIt3D.com...the file format..the extention is .3DS My system won't open it...When I go to media-convert..I don't see this format in the list of formatted files..

I have other 3D pictures on my system..cause most convert them to JPG...or whatever..

How can i convert this..If anyone knows how to convert files..u need an "INput" extention...then an "Output" extention...

what could i put to replace .3DS ---<MY out put would be bmp or jpg of course...

Also i'm assuming that 3DS means it was made with 3DSTudioMax...maybe..?

Any Ideas Please..

and ThankYou

Peace

It is a 3d studio max object file, it is actually not an image.

You must render it with 3dsm or a program that supports this format, which I don't know.

EDIT: LOL squirrel-coincidence? (look at the time of the two posts)
