Eccentrica, I took some more screen shots. As you can see the x-ray isnt checked. I've done shaded and shaded with texture. Still the same. There is just something wrong with sketchup on Vista.

I have also Vista, and it works fine for me. I have Version 7.0.8657
Have you already tried to de-install and then re-install?

I use Vista, and it works fine for me (with the occasional Podium-induced crash). Make sure you've downloaded the latest version, and that your graphics card is up to par.

I just downloaded and installed it yesterday. Its not the version, because it was doing this before. Thats why I stopped using it. I dont know whats wrong. Thanks

As Zenoc2 mentioned, you might have to get the latest drivers for your graphics card.
Otherwise I have no ideas either.

I'm pretty sure everything is up to date on my computer. Perhaps sketchup just doesnt like me. Are you using the free or paid version? I am not paying 495 dollars for something I can barely use. lol

Glad that worked for you. For the record, it makes no difference whether you have the full, paid-for version, or the free version. The full version just comes bundled with a few extra tools.
