I am a little bit confused on what animaton tool I should use for adventure maker?

I want to make an adventure / search game with 2 animated dogs in AM.

In order to make the animations, which tool would you suggest? Either:
Flash, Quicktime,Anime Studio Pro or else?

The imported animations should be transparent off course.

Anyone good suggestions?

I would prefer a tool, where you can save your animation frame for frame and use a plugin for the animation.
I don't know if quicktime is supported by AM.
Flash is also a variation you can use, but I don't know if it works with tranparency.

A tool that I'm using for small animations is Ulead gif animator.
