Rad tools - Bink

Postby Lyberodoggy » Fri Jan 08, 2010 8:28 pm

I think that this software hasn't been mentioned yet. It's a great codec used by most multiplatform commercial games that use pre-rendered videos. It utilizes every function modern cpu architectures can offer.
It's kinda expensive though :P
It wouldn't be the best choice for a non-commercial or a small commercial project. They also offer a sound engine, which should be compatible with AM.
Their site is here: http://www.radgametools.com/bnkmain.htm

It's used by blockbusters like Wolfenstein, left4dead, assassin's creed and many more :)
