I think that this software hasn't been mentioned yet. It's a great codec used by most multiplatform commercial games that use pre-rendered videos. It utilizes every function modern cpu architectures can offer.
It's kinda expensive though
It wouldn't be the best choice for a non-commercial or a small commercial project. They also offer a sound engine, which should be compatible with AM.

Have you seen the Avatar game? Amazing graphics and it was done using Bink.
