The "REAL" looks of Halfling Quest. ;)

Postby ZeornWarlock » Wed Jan 30, 2008 10:20 pm

Hi there,

Here is a BETA pic of (ZeornWarlock Presents) Halfling Quest. You can compare this room to the stairs room of the game I posted for the contest.

Please note that the one I sent for the "frozen" contest does NOT look like this at all. (it would have taken me to long to complete!)

However, I intend to re-create a better version of that adventure with a revamped look and some scripting once I get my hands on a final AM Version(Won or purchased) and I will release it for free.

Stay tuned. ;)

ZW.

Looks great! :D

Good luck for the contest, and also for creating an improved version of your game :)

Thanks, Mystery! :)

That looks really nice, you using some kind of rendering software?

If you want some non critical feedback the torch looks like a lightbulb...and the crack in the door arch left no stones on the floor.(just food for thought )

Thanks for the nice feedback. :) It is a Bryce 6.1 render with some Photoshop CS2 postwork.

Feedback is always welcome, good or bad. The torch will be animated, so in theory it will look better in action than is does on a static image. However, it does look a bit too bright. As for the broken stones, good catch! :) I will look into it. Maybe the dungeon keepers sweep daily. ;) lol

Thanks.

Here is another screen shot of this free project. (If ever I decide to continue it!)

Still nice screens! Beautifully rendered, detailed scenes. Like them both, second is more lively.

Beautiful, ZW! In mood, that last screen reminds me a bit of the palace garden scene in Paradise. Very, very nice. Good luck with this.
