I was making a stupid Pokemon spoof. I was thinking why I don't have a darned Wii two years later. Then, something hit me...
Why don't create a rival technology for the PC...
( You're probably laughing hard at this time!)
So, I played around with computer mouses. They feel unreal and don't really pick up movement.
Then, I got the plan...
Why don't make a similar remote to Wii, but instead of having a motion sensor bar, have a small laser built into the remote that you could point at the screen directly. Then have your game control buttons on it and when you hit it it creates a electrical charge that goes to the console which then clicks on the mouse and runs into the computer.
I have created a sort of prototype and the mechanics work but I have one huge prolbem...
What could I build that would detect where the laser is pointing on the screen?
I have a few ideas, but I would new hundrads of dollars to test them...
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
