The Music/Video one has been replaced by another lame 'technique'. It just explains the differences between Integers and Variants and talks about the various sub-types.

I'll post an updated one soon (man, I've been DRAGGING this out).

I finally updated them...

I've changed Technique 7 and Technique 11.

I know I said 1 - 25, but I actually removed 2 and combined 5 into 2 leaving just 20.

Hopefully I'll have more done soon.

I found these techniques very helpful..~ I know nothing about script..but from what ive read..I'm beginning to understand it a bit at a time..I'm trying to find a certain thing though..but I have a feeling it's not script..

cause i can't find it..lol..

You forgot to add an "Absolutely Amazing!" option to your poll...I would have picked that instead of Other.

It's great to know you find this stuff helpful because I did write this for both people who had never scripted and people who had. I also try and answer some of the questions that aren't answered in the AM help guide.

If you want something put in there, please tell me. I'll be only too happy to include it.

I have posted this already.[started a thread]..just now though..no answers yet....it never occured to me to post it here..I hope that that's ok..

I have made a textbox..and i want a hint to appear above it..so i right clicked the screen and wrote the word "HINT"..
I want the user to not see the hint[text]..until they click the word..then there will be text.."the dog barks" whatever..something like this.

any ideas..this is probably simple..but for the life of me I cant do it..i was told i can do it like with an icon..but with icon editor..its not good to write out a sentence..blocky and huge at that..

many thanks..If this doesn't apply here for scripting..please let me know and i'll delete post..to stay on topic..

I have a bunch of codes..ones I have found I have no clue what to do with them..but have kept them for future reference..hoped that maybe someday i might be able to decipher them..LOL..They're mini games/projects...~

Must be a time limit eh..I hate that...lol..Perhaps there's somewhere else without time limit ..not sure what type of host it is..or if there are many around..hopefully someone can suggest one without time limit..if that is what the problem is..~

Yeah that's the problem, there's a time limit of 45 days, and since I haven't been online for ages due to doing... 'other things', I wasn't able to make sure it didn't expire.

I'll be updating with a fresh twenty new techniques soon anyway...
