The Contract (an experimental HTML game)

Postby Mystery » Thu May 15, 2008 11:16 am

This is just a very short and easy online game. It was created for experimental purposes (to test the HTML feature of AM).

Your boss is not able to come to the office on a Monday morning, and there is something very important to do.
Guess who is in charge of taking care of it? Of course you!
To use inventory items, click on them, and then click where you wish to use them. And there might be inventory items that need to be combined.
Have fun!

Hehe! Thanks Mystery...

The Boss should raise my salary

For the inventory did you use a built-in system or created a new one by making the icons appear when the player gets an item? I 've never made a game for HTML, so I don't know...

Thanks for playing :D

Unfortunately there is no built-in system for inventories for the HTML games - and trying to create an inventory was my main purpose to create this experimental game.

Yes, I did use hotspots for the inventory items that were made visible by variables on finding those items.

Got to re-use myself to adding multiple hotspots on top of each other because I've used now scripting for a long time

Since I would like to create longer and more complex HTML games (additionally to downloadable games of course), I'd be very happy if there was some development on this in the future... Let's see :)

Yes, we 've talked about it much and it seems that Jscript would be the best solution. Anyway, you gave me an idea and as soon as I check it in a sample project, I 'll write a tutorial.
