This may have nothing to do with the adventure maker but i need help.

i have a game called FEAR....and when i click on the icon to install it and error pops up and says it ain't a valid win something something...i forget.

BUT I PAYED MONEY FOR THAT AND I CANT PLAY IT!!!!

I would check who can be contacted, there should be a support/customer service.
Make sure you give them the exact message that pops up, so that they can help you.

You should have problems running F.E.A.R. using Windows Vista, so that could be a problem.

If you are using Vista check for any Vista-compatibility patches in the official site.
