SPRITE and GIFs..

Postby mercedes » Fri Jul 25, 2008 10:13 am

My sprite is walking through my GIF's..just regular pics i have in there but theyre GIFS...:?

Do I have to make this frame again but with regular backrounds..as opposed to using GIFs...in my frames ? I know that's a way of getting Sprite to look like its in front or behind it...

but is there any other way of preventing me from doing frame all over again..:(

Thanks for Reply:)

Hi there...:)

In my frames..instead of me decorating the frame as I would normally in Paint or whereever...I am using .GIF files for decorations..Chairs tables ect....I put them in the [frame in AM]...
And my sprite..is walking right through them.. he's walking right through the table..

I have heard of an alternative to fixing this..but you have to have an already backround in the Picture..Like the same exact table...then you can import the exact same picture on top of it sort of..and it stops sprite..or what looks like stops the sprite from walking right through something...but its alot of work..Only because I used GIFS for a few frames..and I was hoping there was a way around it...

Sorry If I wasn't more clear...:?

Thanks for Response..

Peace..~
