  I'm going to sell a few games. Then after the 100th sell from both games, I MIGHT be HALFWAY to buying that. Now I know I'm stuck with Daz 3D and Poser 5 for awhile.
My sig changes more often than Doctor Who (see your national BBC channel) regenarates into new melancholy actors. Oh look, Matt Smith! Gerard Butler! Colin Mochrie! That wolf from Twilight: New Moon!

Ow, they are something beautiful!

However, I don't think anybody here would need that quality. Poser 7 can create quite nice facial animations (e.g automatically create animated speaking from voice file). That's not cheap I know, but still seems to be more affordable than this studio :)

Wow, amazing

I wish I could afford a software for facial animation... :?
I did download some trial versions in the past, and they are amazing.
Well, maybe one day I can get one :P

Thanks for sharing this, Candle. :D

(Btw, I think the Artwork subforum is meant to present our own artwork, therefore I'm going to move this topic to General Chat if you don't mind ;))

200 dollars could get you Poser 7. And like, 150 dollars or something can get you the newer Bryce. But your still not even close.

I think

I think Poser 7 IS close. I tried it out, and even Poser 6 could do wonders, even compared to 5 in my opinion. With a good rendering software and much work anything can be achieved I think.

Both Poser and DAZ Studio can do this. (DAZ Studio is free) However, Mimic Pro would be best.

Sure, it would! ;) What you see from DAZ is a 10-minute render. Therefore, it looks pretty bland. If someone or a team would put the 10+ months of work behind what the 3D games received, it would look even better. 3D Games usually use low poly meshes with heavy textures and bump maps, while a render engine can call for millions polys and even bigger MAT files.

CGI characters will always look better than in game characters. Because CGI just display images, while the actual 3D games have to calculate much more than images.

However, the games do look great. I cannot wait to play them. :)
