Hi..i'm hoping someone might know this one..

Does anyone know of a way to adjust the tooltip box that a message appears in..when u pass mouse over it...so if you have more that one line..it can get bigger?

+ vblf +doesn't work..

I have asked this before..but it went unanswered..hoping maybe...that GM is back and can answer it now or if someone new might know even.....lol..

It should get bigger by itself... there's no length/width parameters for ToolTip in VB...

Ok...cause i have tried this and say i want to make the tooltip wider..it only goes longer..so if i put as a tooltip..

"Adventuremakerforum index..AdventureMaker Technical support and bug reports.."

that goes into one huge looong line...as opposed to it getting wider..

and if i try to make it two lines by adding vblf between plus signs it doesn't work..---vblf between plus signs gets typed out...


..Wish i knew..

The syntax for creating multi-line strings is the following:

MyString = "this is the first line" + VbCrLf + "This is the second line."

However, the built-in tooltips of the hotspots are single-line only.
