New KeyGuard 3.0.7 and HotSpot Magic 4.0 released

Postby ShadowHunter » Sun Oct 26, 2008 11:42 am

Hello all,

Today I released 2 updates on my website :D

1. KeyGuard 3.0.7
2. HotSpot Magic 4.0

1. KeyGuard 3.0.7: Most powerful plugin for AM ever made

You can now enable and disable the individual hotspot zones of KeyGuard with one line of code. This sounds like a small new feature but it actually will allow you creating some of the most amazing effects with more ease and less programming. KeyGuard is now easy to use for everybody.

As you know KeyGuard makes mouse over and left clicks available as well as keystrokes allowing a professional interface :P

2. HotSpot Magic 4.0: Best AM design tool available

After 3 years the new update is out ! HotSpot Magic 4.0 can now be used with Adventure Maker 4.X.X, besides this you can now also add Visual Basic Scripting behind hotspots and grids from within HotSpot Magic 4.0 8)

All this software, with detailed instruction is FREE to use and to download via my website http://www.shadowhunter.co.uk

I hope you will enjoy it :D

With best regards,

ShAdOwHuNtEr

Thanks very much ShadowHunter! :)

I was thinking of giving some of my projects optional KeyGuard controls, and that new feature will certainly help out.

Just one question: does AM still have to buffer the keys when you're testing out the project? I haven't used KeyGuard for a while now, and not with AM 4.5 anyway, so I'd just like to know.

I know I am a pain when it comes to favors, but if keyguard recognizes hotspots using coordinates, couldn't you program it to be able to recognize round hotspots using the coordinates of the center and the circle's ray? (i think ray is the right name I mean the line that connects the center with the circle)

Hi,

Yes I should be able to make that... thing is I'm not really motivated as downloads are pretty low and even no one has requested a key for HotSpot Magic...

Now I'm working on another "HOT" plugin... brand new... one you all have been asking for since the dawn of AM.

Expect it to be ready in a few weeks to a month... maybe a sneak preview next week...

With best regards,

Ok..well now i want to know what that is...
What everyone is requesting..!~ Although I love surprises..:P
It has to be something i've requested at least once....

If i had to guess..i would guess something to do with 3RD person plugin...or wait no..trying to think since the dawn of AM...Ok well i will keep guessing..
I love guessing at stuff too....lol..~

I know the feeling...

You know big companies begin to close, indie developers can't pop up out of nowhere...

Ensemble studios (Age of empires series) will shut doors when it's done with Halo Wars...

Anyway, I 'm waiting for the surprise...

I know I'm dragging this off-topic - but are Ensemble really closing? That's such a shame... the Age Of Empires games are classics.

Yeah, they actually belong to Microsoft, as do Ensemble studios...

The bad thing is that they were developing an MMO based on halo since 2005 and now it's stopped...
