Background question

Hi there..

...is there a way to have the backround appear sligtly blackened...where when u use hotspot.move..or a picture comes up...the backround is unusuble...AND darkened.........You have no choice but to close the picture down in front of u..AM I think should be able to do this..I think..I guess it's kind of like a message box..u have to hit ok.but you can still see the inventory and background.>only it's darkened

It would prove quite useful...and nice..to have..

Either use a "blackening mask", which means a gif with transparency which consists of closely placed black dots, or load the same picture blackened in the editor you have (ms paint/gimp/anything)
