Bite By Byte Writing Contest

Bite By Byte will be having a Holiday writing contest. The story must be readable, though an occasional typo is fine.

THEMES (Different Then Game Contest)

1. A holiday turned bad
2. Encounter with aliens/ UFO/ foreign body
3. A War

The story may be written in first person format, it must be FICTION! No non-fiction. Please try to make it less then 750 words, but above will be accepted.

DEADLINE: JANUARY 18TH, 2009

Once the deadline arrives, all will be included in the 7th edition of Bite By Byte. Then, a poll will come avaliable and you can vote for the winner.


PRIZES

The winner's story will be adapted to fit a videogame and will be used as the storyline for the "One Game" project if everybody agrees.

I would enter something, but I'm working on multiple projects at the moment (and frankly, drowning in them).

Kinda my fault. Each book whose covers I asked you to do has seven 20 page chapters, but either way, may the best man or woman writer win!

Nah, the bookcovers are easy. It's Surface Deep and regular high school homework that are getting me (and the storyline for a yet unannounced game). I need to rethink my schedule.

Sure! One of the most overlooked things in the media industry, in my opinion, is that if you're going to make a series, you have to have the whole thing planned out from the very beginning. Of course, not everyone seems to know this, and that's why you get terrible sequels from time to time.

Now, back on topic. Any other entries?
