In the same project:
You can drag inventory item (lets call it 'A') to a hotspot
You can drag the same inventory item (A) to another inventory item (B)
You can drag an inventory item (B) to inventory item (A)

Hope that helps.

Hi there..:D

To drag inventory items on top of other inventory items;
You would use the link on the side- 'Manage Inventory Items'>> then from there >> 'Use items on each other'..and>> 'Create a new Event'
Then choose the items you wish to use on each other..in the dialogue box that comes up..:)

And as Reneuend mentioned you can do this with either of the items-- or use them on a hotspot..:D

Peace

thanks but

what I want to do is get a set response if any item ( except one probably, but the exception would be no problem ) is dragged to another item or hotspot. I know you can set up each event but that could mean dozens ( maybe many dozens) of events and really clog up the list.

Is there code that reconises the drag. So you can have something like

IfDraggedObject="" then Whatever
or
IfDraggedObject<> "Redkey" then Whatever

KeyGuard can do what you are talking about. You can detect when a hotspot has been clicked on, and depending on what the coordinates the mouse is released, you can tell what hotspot it was over at the time.

Sounds like you want to be able to detect when and which inventory object is being dragged..--without creating an event..but do so when the mouse clicks or hovers over an inventory object.
You would need keyguard to detect mouse up and down..

Read about it Here ..and u can see what it can do..:D

It's since been updated to do alot, it really is a powerful plugin..it's made for AdventureMaker..

Peace
