Historical FPS?

Postby chickens1127 » Sun Sep 20, 2009 1:37 pm

Hey guys, I was thinking about making a historical fps, like either the american war of independence or the napoleanic era. Yes, I know, it takes like 15 seconds to reload a musket but maybe reducing it to 7 seconds. Any suggestions how I would make it? I was thinking of making random enemies.

I'm working on my first historical game based on events in the Civil War, but I'm still building the story boards, so it's still very early. I haven't looked at how I'm going to present it yet. Strategy will be a very important feature.

Really? How cool! If you need any help, I know a lot on the battles and weapons and uniforms, and I have some books to suggest that have the uniforms of different regiments. I basicallly know every battle, land or naval, anywhere in the world, from 1776-1865.
