I was going to host some files

At my rapidshare account but then I see they started doing this crap.


I may move to a different hoster after this account runs out.
Anyone have a better one to use?

Well, I did have one idea.
I built PHP content management tools back in 1999 and have enhanced it since that time.

I could purchase GoDaddy's unlimited Hosting services at $15 per month. Then I could offer everyone a template site (similar to my website) that they could update with their own secure web-based admin site. This would give everyone unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth and several email accounts. I would charge something like $24 per year. Any profit I make, I would use in the annual CrazyGames Memorial Contest.

If you can't afford or don't want a domain name, then I'll set it up so you can run it under a folder under my domain name. You'll still have your own admin site and database drive website.

Note: I'll try to work stuff on the side to keep the hosting costs from getting out of hand should too many people drop out.

Anyway, let me know what you think. I can get something set up in about a month. Need time to transition my web tools and set up the database.

Also, I can set up a forum on your website that is similar to this one. The "free thinkers" team has one!

I think i will just find a host for file hosting and use a word press blog to list the downloads.
