Lets say you wanted to make something for a desktop, we will use an alarm clock as an example, and wanted to sell it for, lets say a dollar, but wanted to give them a 2 week free trial first........how would you code it so that it stops working after 2 weeks if they dont purchase it? Anyone ever do something like this?

No, I am not making an alarm clock for a destktop, was just using that as an example. lol

Shadowhunter's site has a tutorial on how to do this.
It can be easily done (but can be bypassed from a novice registry-hacker), by using AM's registry commands to store the date of the first use of the software and then check if the current date is two weeks or less away from the stored one.
