I?ve converted to avi using xvid. Now reneuend will replace the videos and cretate a new exe file.

Mystery wrote:Uncompressed .avi is indeed heavy, but using the XVid codec, the video file size can be reduced a lot. (In some of my tests it was around 65 MB uncompressed versus 0.6 MB with XVid, which makes a huge difference).

Just a question:
Are all your videos WMV files? If so, couldn't you do the same with the new videos as with the old ones?
Why are the old ones working and not the new ones - what did you do differently?

Hi FireOrange.
About the game production i had some problems because my PC is a little limited to create a hight top adventure game. I developed this game using a Pentiun D with a memory ram of 1 GB, my hard drive has only 80 gb of space, and my video card was on-bord. And i created all the places and objects of the game using a mouse (i wish i could use an optical pen but here in Brazil this like this are really expensive). So it?s like "use some wood sticks to build a huge house", you know? :D
There?s a fixed version of The Black Wish Cemetery to download.

FireOrange wrote:Thanks @reneuend. I solved it now. :)

Very nice ending. I`m looking forward to the next part.

By the way I wrote a little review for my 1st person-Adventure-Blog (in german language): http://1stpersonblog.blogspot.com/2010/ ... etery.html

Really??? Try to download from Reneuend homepage. I looked for a free server service and the 4shares accept 200mb of space. The others free servers accept only 100mb... :(

Yes, for your older version, and now for your newer one it takes me almost 45 minutes with a fast internet connection (usually the file sizes of your game take me 2-3 minutes to download depending on the server speed).

http://www.filefront.com/ is a reliable host, especially created for game files, and it accepts up to 600 MB per file :)

Ooooh! Thank you sooo much! I?ll upload the game on this host. So you forget it the download from my homepage. Get the game from the reneuend homepage while i?m uploading in the filefront, ok?

Thanks :) Unfortunately it didn't help. Looking around everywhere is what I do in all games
And for your other hint, I tried something for the trapdoor, but it didn't work.

Thanks :)
I'm now much further, and ready to place the pictures. But I'm having a bit difficulties to match some of the personalities (especially the one that is not on the list), and of course the 2 missing ones.
Hmmm, let's try it again.

Well, it?s impossible to send to a german site. Try it again:

I have it already, so I don't know.

On another note, a player said this:
half the time when i reload the game it dont work right and have to start all over which sucks.

I have asked for more detailed information on that, but maybe you could also double check?

From my tests, I only found that I would get an error when I saved the game during a video frame or panoramic frame. So, I just disabled the inventory, load, and save options on those frames. There is nothing else going on that is unusual. No external files or odd plugins. Hopefully, that will take care of it.

Valid download link?

Postby leviathan » Thu Jun 03, 2010 4:57 pm

Does anyone know of a working link to download Black Wish Cemetary? I have found about four different links in the forums but none of them work. They all say File Not Found.
