I want to disable save on a few screens and found
SaveMenuObject.Enabled=false
LoadMenuObject.Enabled=false
trouble is you can still use control+S/L
if I disable save/load in project properties, I can't enable these buttons either and do it that way.
Any advice please Loll

never occured to me. You can either not inform the player that there's a ctrl+S function or try to pull a trick using S in a Keyguard event.

I don't think that many players would use this technique to save AM games...
Doggy, do you think that assigning a Keyguard event to the key S would suppress the effect of the CTRL+S combination? I'm not sure it would.

It should, if the OCX processes the button input earlier.
