Are you Windows XP or Windows 7 User?

Postby reneuend » Mon Apr 05, 2010 2:57 pm

Now that Wndows 7 is quickly gaining popularity, I'd like to know what OS people are using.

NOTE: When the Poll reads XP, please include Vista with XP.

But why didn't you add that to your poll?

Ouch! Good question!!! Well, I can't find a way to update the Poll. So, I'll just update my original post with XP = XP or Vista.

I use 64bit Vista and 32bit XP at the moment, on the same machine. Plus XPs on laptops.

Windows 7. One of the best software pieces of Microsoft yet, all thing concerned.

Too bad they didn't care too much about backwards compatibility. But then again, never had they done so before either.

Whoever fixed my poll, thanks! :-)

Lyberodoggy, thanks to Microsoft, a lot of my jobs come from the fact that they don't believe in backwards compatibility!

I just hope Adventure Maker becomes Win7 compatible.

That was me :P
When you want to fix a poll you need to edit the first post.

It's certainly going to be compatible in the future. But what about older projects? They will probably need to be reedited and recompiled :(

It shouldn't be too difficult to convert the source code to VB.NET
AM projects might have problems if they used the old sound/video system.
