Windows 7 version registering as malware?!

Postby adelwich » Mon Oct 18, 2010 6:38 pm

Hi,

Sophos is flagging the beta version of Adventure Maker as malware. The Sophos message says:

File c:\program files (x86)\adventure maker v 4.6.0\data\is-D25NC.tmp belongs to virus/spyware Mal/VB-GI.

Has anyone else encountered this?!

No, in fact, that file is not included in my Adventure Maker 4.6.0 build and there are no .tmp files in my Adventure Maker directory.

The chances are that file 'is-D25NC.tmp' was injected in your system by a virus/trojan during the installation process. Clean everything up on that system, then download the build from Adventure Maker site and try again.

Hope this helps.
