I haven't posted in forever, but because I'm in High School now, I must hang up my mysterious floating ghost avatar. It happens at times, but it got a lot worse when the server went down for several days about a year ago...about the time when there wasn't a AM upgrade that supported Windows 7. Anyway, it's possible for it to pick up again if the rest of us work together to keep it going.

If/When GM sends out a new upgrade that is more Win7 compatible and also the new upgrade for Panoramic that he was talking about, then there will be more people excited about working with AM.

Lets all just hang in there. There really isn't software out there that is as easy to use as AM for building adventure games, so I'm sticking with it.

Thank you very much for your kind messages!

I've not disappeared from the surface of Earth.
I've been busy with real life stuff for a while. 3 months ago I started a new job and I'm currently working a lot. And I'm not getting younger either, which means that I have to use my little spare time to "recharge my batteries" :roll:

However, I look forward to Christmas Holidays when I can finally devote some time to my creative hobbies.

I hope that everyone is doing fine, see you soon!

Nice to hear from you Mystery!!!!! I guess maybe you saw my shout-out on your website's guestbook?

I understand your plight. In fact, I'm in nearly the exact same situation. The only difference is that I'm quite a bit older and not only am I starting in technologies new to me, but I'll be working on Excel VBA projects in the evening for other clients. :wink:

This means I'll have to hurry up and finish my "Rotten Luck" game before it all hits.

I'll still try to come out here daily as it makes a nice break in a hectic schedule.

Please drop a note every now and then, even if its just to say "hi"

Now, if only we could get Lyberodoggy to come back more frequently too!

By the way, although you might not hear from me very often, I'm constantly checking the forums and read everything. I'm just busy with different projects, but hopefully once you will see a game from me finished :wink:

(Little secret in the end: I actually have a game ready, but it's an action-puzzle-platformer, and to euphemise it a bit, it needs some refinement for mortals to be able to complete it)

It's hard for me to say, but I'm completely overwhelmed with things to do, so for now I'm not doing anything new

It's really sad that I have so much ideas and from time to time I jump in Bryce and do some environment for the next game... I like to make it more professional than the others...

Something really nice happened to me this month. First, my comedy project that was dead for 2 years now it's active and we signed a deal with a TV station for airing our comedy sketches. This was a dream for me in 2008, but back then, we just aired on YouTube. Now, from today, on TV...

Second, I got myself a part-time job as webmaster for one website and I'm really glad about that.

So, I'm not leaving or saying goodbye (that can never happen), but I'm saying that my ideas are delayed a bit...

Finally made it through the gauntlet that is the membership process for this fine forum! (ie. I re-read my email and realized I needed to email a moderator to get my account enabled . . . doh!)

Been lurking for awhile, but now I'm excited to join the conversation and maybe, possibly, add something to the community in the future. Currently using the free version of AM, but am planning to upgrade here in a few weeks when my tax return comes in, so that's exciting! Anyway, just wanted to say hi, so . . . HI!!
