Welcome to the AM forums. I'm sorry you have to start on a bad note. Hopefully, we can fix your issue.
Are you compiling an AdventureMaker project?
What version of AdventureMaker are you using?
What version of Windows are you running?
How much disk space do you have?
What size RAM?
Is this your first time compiling a project?
If you go to "Distribution Options", you can select "Installation split into several parts". This might work better if your project is large and your computer doesn't have the space for a single installation file.
We need as much information as possible to understand the situation. It's helpful to know the steps you took leading up to the error. It is also helpful to know your environment (system information) and the resources being used.

Yes, I am compiling an Adventuremaker project. Version Adventure Maker v4.7.1 Free Edition. I am running Windows 10. I have 777gb free disc space. 8gb ram -It is the first time I have tried to compile a completed project, I have tried it several times. Is it possible it is too large for the free edition, it has 75 frames some avi and animations plus sound throughout? The "Distribution Options" is greyed out so I cannot try that?

Problem resolved - deleted all files not being used in resources to reduce memory and it compiled with no problem - hooray.
