Screen Resolution

Postby mbc841 » Sat Apr 30, 2016 12:55 pm

I had someone ask me after playing my demo of "The Fate Of It All" - if the final game would support wide-screen. Is that the same thing as HD 1080P ? My graphic files for my game frames are all sized to 1024x768 - and if I use the option of changing display resolution to 1024x768 when I run the game it fills the whole screen on my desktop - but on my lap top it doesn't. So with the understanding that there are MANY different types of computers and monitors out there - and some folks using enlarged fonts for visual purposes, etc., what would be the BEST screen-resolution to use for my game??

Thanks!!!

It seems to vary widely. If possible I would suggestallowing user select from menu or use a plugin that will tell you the user's screen size (if AM doesn't already have this option).
