video files stall temporarily upon execution

Postby pocorev » Thu Dec 01, 2005 11:00 pm

hi there-

i'm using 3.52

i'm just putting together a promotional proggie for a new project... i'm having problems when the video (wmf) links are executed. a couple files seem to run almost immediately, the others are lagging/stalling up to 5 - 6 seconds in some cases.

in the videos that are stalling on me, i'm missing the entire lead-in which is defeating the purpose :(

is there some way to buffer the video files or put up a temp 'loading' message while the video loads etc....

any help you all can give me will be greatly appreciated

hi candle. thanks for your reply.

i've never used flash  ... is it possible to convert my video into a flash format?

is there an inexpensive alternative to buying the full flash package?

any ideas you can share will be very helpful. :)
