can't get the merged frame options to work

the instructions for doing this are so straight forward yet i cannot get anything i place on the transient frame to appear on the frames it's been merged with-- am i missing something--what do you do?

I have found images don't wrok where text does. are youi using images?

i haven't tried text i must admit , the main thing is that the hot spots aren't working i was just testing the thing to see how it worked --so i just made a new blank frame added a hot spot with a cursor change and merged it with one or two other frames but the hot spot wasn't there..

i must admit i can't get text to appear either...

Txt does work for me .
You have one frame I did a black one and right click on the frame and add some txt . you can then drag the txt where you want it.
Now go to the Runtime frames merging . clic one of the pages you want the txt to show.
The look to the right and click the drop downbox under the merge with:
and find the page with the txt .
have it shoing there and click the Assign button and thats it.
