You can't easily. You need to open the source code (available from the Plugins page of the AM website) with Visual Basic 6, change the pictures and recompile the ActiveX file.

Hi !

We've opened the OCX file in VB6 but we are not able to change the button images of the plugin.

N.B we are not VB experts.. ;-)

Hi,

Just open the the source SimpleMenu.vbp. Be sure the Project Explorer is open.

And there you have it, just replace the pictures:

Hi !
Thanks Shadowhunter, you have directed us in the correct direction, as usual. :D
We have been able to change the images.
However.. we are having problems with the event ButtonClick. it never seems to be executed (the code within the pl1 file). Do you have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

God, I am such a looser. :( ShadowHunter, please, help! I installed VS6, opened SimpleMenu.vbp, changed icons (see below), saved it and placed into the plugins directory. Then I started AM, opened my project and... icon are still default. What is wrong? Did I forget something?

Hi,

1. You saved the OCX in the wrong directory or version of AM
2. In case you gave the *.ocx another name adjust the *.PL1 file so AM knows what to use (Create/Modify plugins)
3. AM uses the registered OCX in the systems folder, delete it

Hope this helps !

Yeah I am having the same problem. I changed the icons and saved the .vbp. But I still get the default icons. Do I have to make a .ocx file in Visual Basic after I change the icons? When I try to do that I get a "No public UserControl Detected" Error. Have no idea what that means. I also don't understand what .ocx file I have to delete from system folder on ShadowHunters help on the above topic.

Thank You
Ikonz101

Edit: Figured it out I had to change the properties to public instead of private.
